About Bloom Here Therapy
Bloom Here Therapy, established in 2025, is an individual practice that aims to support mental health as a whole. Bloom Here Therapy is inspired by the sentiment to be patient with one's self - there is nothing in nature that blooms all year long; we should not expect ourselves to do so either. We have beauty in all stages and seasons. Bloom Here Therapy is about finding the grace and the space we need to grow and blossom in due time.

Mission Statement:
Bloom Here Therapy aims to promote healing at every individual pace. Our mission is to create a unconditionally supportive space where individuals can heal, explore, and discover their potential while honoring autonomy and self-actualization; but also challenging past patterns that no longer serve us. Bloom Here Therapy supports the growth and development of each individual in the light of self-awareness, emotional well-being, and lasting growth.

About Me
I’m Emily Dzi, the founder and sole therapist behind the practice. I am a Philly gal through and through, having received my Bachelor's Degree in Neuroscience at Temple University and my Master's Degree in Clinical and Counseling Psychology at Chestnut Hill College. Currently, I am still based in Philadelphia proper and find great fulfillment on aiding people in their mental health journeys.

My affinity for mental health and psychotherapy began in high school during my AP Psychology class, where the idea that we are what we make of our minds and behaviors. This planted a seed that grew into the a curiosity for the human design which eventually led to the question on how to turn this passion into a career.

Since then, I have honed and developed this interest and my professionalism through therapy. My training was then further honed and supported through evidence based practices relating to Trauma and techniques to heal old wounds. My preferred modalities are EMDR and IFS Informed EMDR, but I also deeply appreciate the underestimated strength of the therapeutic relationship and how healing occurs through experience.

When I'm not practicing therapy, you can find me connecting with friends at a concert, relaxing solo at local museums, globe trotting, or enjoying a good nap in the sun. I love a good fun Snapple fact and am always looking for other ways to express my very novice creative spirit through fun crafts and casual creations.
